Unsafe Maintenance Hazards
Before performing any adjust-
ment or service operations, power
off all control units and ensure
that all moving parts are safely se-
cured and cannot move
unintentionally.
Before performing any adjust-
ment or service operations, en-
sure that the scissor arms are
stowed, and do not carry out
maintenance with the scissor
arms raised. If maintenance must
be carried out with the scissor
arms raised, take appropriate pro-
tective measures to avoid danger-
ous conditions.
When lifting or moving heavy
parts of the machine, use equip-
ment with sufficient capacity, and
never place heavy objects in un-
stable positions after moving.
When machine parts are lifted by
other equipment, ensure that
there are no persons under and/or
around the equipment.
When striking brass rods with a
mallet, make sure to wear eye
protection.
If you need to replace parts, use
only original parts specified by
Sinoboom.
Do not wash the machine with
water. The machine contains elec-
tronic components such as sen-
sors, which may fail or operate
erratically after water ingress. If it
is necessary to wash with water,
turn off the main power switch be-
fore proceeding. Only turn the
power back on after ensuring the
machine is completely dry.
Make sure the machine is turned
off before using flushing equip-
ment (such as a high-pressure
water gun) to clean the machine.
Do not direct water or steam
ejected from the flushing equip-
ment at electrical components, as
this may cause short-circuits or
electrical shocks.
After maintenance is completed,
thoroughly clean up any spilled
oil, and avoid allowing it to be
spilled on the ground.
After maintenance is completed,
immediately wash off any oil that
may have come into contact with
your skin.
Welding and Grinding Operation
Hazards
Welding, grinding and polishing
operations must follow the appro-
priate local safety procedures.
Before performing welding, grind-
ing and polishing operations, turn
off the machine’s power, and en-
sure that all wires or cables are
connected correctly.
Do not use the machine as a
ground wire during welding and
grinding operations.
Always make sure that all power
tools are placed completely within
the perimeter of the platform. Do
not hang the cords of power tools
on the guardrail of the platform or
in any work area outside the plat-
form, and do not hang the power
tools directly by their cords.
