Perform exposure at 40kV ,20mA, 2.0mAs. The mA feedback value shall be (1.5±0.1)
VDC, and the rise time of the mA waveform front shall be within 10ms, and the mA
shall not overshoot too high. The proper mA waveform is as shown Fig.8-2 below,
otherwise adjust the filament value at “40kV,20mA”. If the mA rise time is too long, the
filament value shall be increased, and if the overshoot is too high, the filament value
shall be decreased. The number of filament values being adjusted each time shall not
exceed 3. Save and return to the main screen for exposure till the mA waveform is
normal.

5) Change the filament value determined in 4) to 20mA, and the steps of 45kV, 55kV,
65kV...125kV.
6) Set the tube current to 10mA, 12.5mA, 16mA, 25mA,...80mA respectively, and keep
the exposure time for 100ms. Test at 40kV according to step 4), and set the values of
other tube voltages according to step 5).

8.5 Quality Assurance
The following quality control inspections shall be trained and provided service by SIUI
qualified engineers.
