Manual Storage Box Section 3 – Familiarization
FAMILIARIZATION
3.2 Manual Storage Box
This weather-resistant box is mounted under the
control console on the platform. It contains the
operating manual and other important documents.
The operating manual for this make and model of
MEWP must remain with the MEWP and should be
stored in this box.

3.3 Control Functions
3.3-1 Main power disconnect switch
This switch is located in the engine compartment near
the battery.

Main power disconnect switch: This switch,
when in off position, disconnects power to all
circuits. Switch must be in on position to operate
any circuit. Turn switch off when transporting
MEWP.
3.3-2 Footswitch
The footswitch is located on the oor of the platform.
When depressed and held, it enables controls on
platform control console.

NOTE
The footswitch is equipped with a 7-second anti-
tiedown feature that deactivates footswitch when
operator depresses it for 7 seconds without
activating any function.
