5. ADJUSTMENTS AND SETTINGS
5.1 MACHINE OPERATION AND GUIDE ALIGNMENT
The machine has been designed to package products by "steps" without grouping/making up
of the pack. The machine can package according the two modes shown in fig. 5.1.1 and Fig.
5.1.2.

In both cases, it is necessary to keep a specific distance "d" between the end of the product to
be packaged and the photocell located at the input.

1 • In accordance with the width of the
pack, adjust the input belt guides.
2 • Adjust the positions of stopping de-
vices 1 by acting on the screws 2
(by shifting the rods 5 along the
holes) in accordance with the prod-
uct length and the coil position.
