6.7 INTEGRATION TO THE MANUAL
The machine is fitted with an inverter (Fig.6.7.1) which
can increase or decrease the input conveyor belt
speed at 90°. A reduced speed of the conveyor belt
will bring about an increase in the product stability and
a speed increase will produce better performances.
The device is fitted with a display indicating the engine
frequency, this value can be cosidered as a reference
to set the speed.
Taking into account that the input conveyor belt engine
is coupled to a 1:50 reducer, the product speed varies
from a minimum of 6 m/min. (30 Hz frequency) to a
maximum of 18: 6 m/min (90 Hz frequency).
If there are no particular problems with stability, speed
should be adjusted according to the product flow
upstream the machine.
By modifying the conveyor belt speed we must modify
by programme the value of the pack loading time;
therefore, by decreasing the speed, this value will be
increased and vice versa. The inverter is located inside the electrical panel, so to change
speed, open the electrical panel through the relevant key and operate on the potentiometer
directly on the device (particular A); by rotating the knob clockwise, the speed will increase
while rotating it anticlockwise the speed will decrease.
