right. Auto-Detect the operation mode of the network device, press right.
14. IP Address Setting pick Auto then Pick auto for MTU and press right.
15. Pick Proxy Use, press right
16. Enter your PC IP Address and Port number the one you took note of in stage 4 (in this case mine
was 192.168.1.134 and 8080(May just be 80)).
17. Pick UpNp enabled (doesn't matter much) then Confirm settings and Don't test, and go back to
the normal PS3 Menu (aka XMB).
18. Go to the PS3 store
19. Once the ps3 store had loaded up Go to the demos and download any demo as long as it free
(Such as Resistance).
Notes: The icon of what the PS3 think your downloading will appear (e.g Resistance) but if
you notice the Filesize should be the SAME as the file on your PC or URL you redirected
too. The download will begin and the PS3 will automatically install the file in the GAME
folder on the XMB.
20. Once installation is complete exit the PS Store and goto GAME on XMB. Whatever you
downloaded should be there click it to play.
Notes: If you have downloaded say Lemmings or Super Rub a Dub then to get these
working you must first download the STARTER PACK then you install the Activation file
to unlock them so that they are no longer the STARTER PACK but the full version (To do
this you simply repeat Step 7 and download a free demo which should be redirected to the
activation file).
