About the Menu Function

Menu
LED
Turns the operation indicator on or off during operation.
ON*:
During accessing to the memory, recording or playback,
the indicator lights or flashes.
OFF:
The indicator does not light or flash, even during
operation.
P Note
When the IC recorder is connected to a computer, the
operation indicator lights or flashes even if “LED” is set to
“OFF.”
Language
Sets the language to be used for messages, menus, folder
names, file names, etc.
English*, Español (Spanish), Français (French)

Date&Time
Sets the clock to use the alarm function or record the date
and time.
1Press and hold
DISP/MENU to enter the menu mode.
Select “Detail Menu,” then “Date&Time.”
2Press –
. or >+ to select “Auto(Synchronizing)” or
“Manual,” and then press
N PLAY/STOP•ENTER.
Auto(Synchronizing)*:
When the IC recorder is connected to a computer that is
running the Sound Organizer software, the clock will
be automatically adjusted according to that computer.
Manual:
Sets the clock by setting year, month, day, hour, and
minute in sequence.
3When you select “Manual,” press –
. or >+ to set
the year, month, day, hour, and minute in sequence, and
then press
N PLAY/STOP•ENTER.
Select the last two digits of the year when you set the
year. When you set the minute, the “Executing...”
animation is displayed.
