1�2 General Safety Instructions
Signal Word Work Area Safety
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable liquids, gases or
dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite dust or fumes.
Operate the power tool only in interior spaces on a solid, horizontal table or workbench. Otherwise there is a
chance of the product falling.
The emergency switch has to be easily accessible at all times. Otherwise the machine possibly cannot be
turned off in case of an emergency.
NOTICE Keep the environment of the machine dust-free. High dust exposure can cause damages to the system.
NOTICE
Keep children and bystanders at a distance while operating a laser tool. Distractions can cause you to lose
control and can result in accidents.
NOTICE Please imperatively make sure that all supply lines are long enough and will not be clamped anywhere.
NOTICE Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
NOTICE
Make sure that there is sufcient space around the machine in order that you can work comfortably and
that the machine can fully extend to its traveling paths. Also keep sufcient clearance to possibly nearby
positioned machines.
NOTICE The PC controlling the machine has to be placed in the vicinity of the machine to have both in clear view.
Signal Word Personal Safety
Dress yourself properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from
oscillating parts so that they cannot be caught. Loose clothing, jewelry and hair can easily get caught in
oscillating parts. This can lead to severe injuries.
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating the power tool. Do not use the
power tool while you are tired and / or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of
inattention while operating the power tool may result in serious personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection and if applicable a respiratory mask. Protec-
tive equipment reduces the risk of personal injuries.
Never place any parts of the tool or accessories in your mouth as this can lead to serious injuries.
Depending on the application eld of the machine (private or commercial), observe the applicable occupa-
tional safety, health and accident prevention and environmental regulations. Ignoring workplace safety can
result in accidents.
NOTICE
Every person who operates the product must have read and fully understood all relevant safety and operating
instructions. Misunderstanding may result in personal injury.
Signal Word Special Physical Effects
Do not touch the insertion tool / motors after use. After usage, the blade and motors can be too hot to be
touched with bare hands.
NOTICE
The use of liquids with the machine, such as the application of a coolant pump, is prohibited as it can
damage the electronics.
