-Pullbootoffthesparkplug.

Takeoutthescrews.
-Removetheignitionmodule.
Note:Theignitionleadismolded
totheignitionmodule.
-Placetheignitionmodulein
position,insertthescrewsbut
donottightenthemdownyet.
•
Secureconnectortag(1)for
shortcircuitwirewithupper
screw.
•
Slidethesettinggauge(1)
11278906400betweenthe
armsoftheignitionmoduleand
theflywheelmagnetpoles.
-Presstheignitionmodule
againsttheflywheelandtighten
downthemountingscrewstoa
torqueof4.5Nm(3.3lbf.ft).
Assembleallotherpartsinthe
reversesequence.
Removingtheflywheel:
-Removetheclutch-see4.1.
•
Freeofftheflywheelbylightly
tappingtheendofthecrankshaft
stubwitharubbermallet.
-Pullofftheflywheel.
Inspecttheconditionofthe
flywheel(1)andmagnetpoles(2).
Ifyoufindanydamage(cracks
etc.),fitanewflywheel.
