Journey where no recording is required
If you are using the vehicle in conditions
where the EU tachograph regulation 3820/
85 does not apply, then recording of these
activities is not required. This situation is
called to drive “Out of scope”.
Out of scope driving could be, for example:
앫 Driving a vehicle that is only partly load-
ed in respect of weight, so that the vehi-
cle gross weight does not exceed the
limit at which a tachograph is required.
앫 Driving in a country outside EU.
앫 Driving on a non public road, for exam-
ple driving in a gravel pit or off road.
Activate out of scope mode
