cybercool indoor chiller original instructions
The refrigerant connections are located near the compressor and are labelled by the inscriptions "discharge
pipe" and "liquid pipe".
The lines to be connected have to be soldered.
Introduce the supply lines from the bottom into the chiller.
5.3.1.3 Strength pressure test
The compressor has been strength-tested in the factory. It is not necessary for the customer to strength-
or leak-test the compressor again.
5.3.1.4 Tightness/pressure test
Use only dry nitrogen for pressure testing of the refrigerant circuit.
NOTICE
Risk of bearing malfunction
Do not subject the compressor to dry air.
5.3.2 Water piping connection
Chilled water piping
To seal the water circuit you must connect the unit to a chilled water ring mains, which contains at least one
consumer. If the water quality is insufficient, we recommend the additional installation of a fine mesh strainer.
If several consumers are connected, these must be connected in parallel, to eventually equal the pressure
losses, caused by different pipe lengths to the consumers, with balancing valves.
At the planning and realisation of the whole system observe the following items:
• Protect the Stulz unit against lack of water and thus against dry run by appropriate measures on the installa-
tion site.
• Design the circuit system so, that a good deventilation can easily be achieved.
Impurities and dirt may cause a malfunction of the pump.
• Protect the Stulz unit by a ne mesh strainer (mesh width <1 mm) at the water inlet.
• Install the Stulz unit only after all works of soldering and welding have been nished and the pipes have
been successfully flushed.
NOTICE
Respect material compatibility in the whole hydraulic circuit, when installing additional
components.
