This document describes the User Interfaces and
controls for the Connected Home panel and automation
system. The Connected Home system is a centralized
smart LCD control panel (Connected Home panel) that
enables and simplifies home security, home control,
energy management, home healthcare, and other
services. The control panel uses wireless technology to
communicate with a broad set of wireless peripherals
and sensors. The Connected Home panel communicates
with a centralized 24/7 monitoring system, smart phone
or a remote system via cellular wireless or broadband
technologies. The panel is accessible via an easy to use
touch screen interface as well as from any web browser
or smart phone. The Connected Home panel platform
uses an ARM processor and Android operating system.
