10. SPARE PARTS
Use only original spare parts. To order spare parts, refer to the catalogues or contact the Sulzer Technical assistance specifying the kind of the motor, the
serial number and the year of manufacture (all these data are to be found in the identication plate). This product is free from the manufacturing defects.
11. INFORMATION ABOUT PUMP’S EFFICIENCY
Product Information as per Regulation No. 547/2012 Implementing ”Ecodesign” Directive 2009/125/EC
• MEI (Minimum E󰀩ciency Index): on pump’s name plate;
• Year of manufacture, information about the manufacturer, product’s type and size identicator: pump’s name plate or order documentation;
• Hydraulic pump e󰀩ciency, performance curves for the pump, including e󰀩ciency characteristics: data sheet, catalogue;
• Information relevant for disassembly, recycling or disposal at end-of-life: use and maintenance manual.
The benchmark for most e󰀩cient water pumps is MEI ≥ 0,70
The e󰀩ciency of a pump with a trimmed impeller is usually lower than that of a pump with the full impeller diameter. The trimming of the impeller will adapt
the pump to a xed duty point, leading to reduced energy consumption. The minimum e󰀩ciency index (MEI) is based on the full impeller diameter.
The operation of this water pump with variable duty points may be more e󰀩cient and economic when controlled, for example, by the use of a variable
speed drive that matches the pump duty to the system.
Information on benchmark e󰀩ciency is available at www.europump.org/e󰀩ciencycharts
