• Once the update le is downloaded and the progress bar reaches 100%, a new message will appear
and display the status of the update. Follow the on-screen prompts.
• Once the update is complete, the welder will display an error message, which can be ignored—don’t call
Sunstone Customer Service. Continue to the next bullet point.
• Turn the welder o and wait 10 seconds.
• Remove the USB drive.
• Turn the welder on.
• The updated software will now launch, which may take a few minutes.
• Once the new software is launched, the following message will appear: “Firmware Upgrading.”
• Once completed, a message will appear letting you know the process was successful. Once the
success message appears, close the box and use the welder as needed.
