Why does my Sunstream FL-24020D key fob transmitter have limited range?
    • W
      wilsonloriAug 3, 2025
If your Sunstream Boating Equipment key fob transmitter has limited range, here are a few things to check: * Ensure the RC box antenna extends outside the metal Powerpack box. * Try reprogramming the key fob transmitter according to the manual's instructions. * Verify the battery voltage in the key fob transmitter is adequate. * Experiment with holding the transmitter in different locations, such as overhead or in another part of the boat. External electromagnetic interference from cell phone towers, power lines, and other sources can also reduce the transmitter's range.

What to do if my boat lists to one side when lifting with Sunstream FL-24020D Boating Equipment?
    • P
      Paul DunlapAug 7, 2025
If your boat lists to one side when lifting with Sunstream Boating Equipment, consider the following: * Ensure the boat is loaded in the center of the FloatLift and is evenly weighted. * Verify that both hydraulic pumps are operating by checking that both circuit breakers are ON, as single pump operation will not be as level as 2-pump operation. * If the lift was just installed, operate it for about 4 cycles to purge any air from the system, which can cause uneven lifting. * Check that hoses are not crimped or damaged.

What to do if Sunstream FL-24020D Boating Equipment lift will not operate with key fob transmitter buttons?
    • J
      John EdwardsAug 12, 2025
If your Sunstream Boating Equipment lift isn't responding to the key fob transmitter buttons, try these steps: * First, confirm the lift operates using the manual switches on the RC box. * Make sure the RC box antenna is positioned outside of the metal Powerpack box. * Reprogram the key fob transmitter following the instructions in the manual. * Check the battery voltage in the key fob transmitter.

Why does my Sunstream FL-24020D Boating Equipment lift stop momentarily?
    • J
      Jason HatfieldAug 15, 2025
If your Sunstream Boating Equipment lift stops momentarily, it could be due to a low battery. The key fob transmitter will cease functioning with a low Powerpack battery. You can still operate the lift with the manual switch on the RC box. The RC stops responding to the transmitter at about 22V, and the pump motor stops functioning at about 18V.

How to troubleshoot a Sunstream FL-24020D lift that will not operate with manual switches on RC box?
    • H
      Henry SotoAug 20, 2025
If your Sunstream Boating Equipment lift won't operate using the manual switches on the RC box, check that both circuit breakers are on, ensure the power on the RC box is on, and verify the battery voltage.

What to do if I find fluid in the bottom of my Sunstream FL-24020D power pack?
    • B
      Brenda DeanAug 25, 2025
If you find fluid in the bottom of your Sunstream Boating Equipment power pack, and if the lift was just installed, air in the system often expands and causes fluid to overflow. Check the fluid level after installation is complete and all air is purged from the system. Also, check for leaks, and tighten hose fittings or reposition gaskets as necessary.

Why does the battery terminal become hot on my Sunstream FL-24020D Boating Equipment?
    • Q
      qdudleyAug 28, 2025
If the battery terminal on your Sunstream Boating Equipment becomes hot, ensure the battery cable is clean and securely tightened on the battery terminal.
