SATA Connections (I-SATA0~I-SATA5)
Eight Serial ATA (SATA) 3.0 connectors (I-SATA 0~5, A-SATA 0/1) are supported
on the board. The I-SATA 3.0 ports are supported by the Intel C226 PCH chip
(supports RAID 0,1,5,10) while the A-SATA 3.0 ports are provided by the ASMedia
SATA Controller. These Serial Link connections provide faster data transmission
than legacy Parallel ATA. See the table on the right for pin denitions.
