Step 9 Removing the drive belt (G170) and/or driven pulley (G160):
(a) Remove the rear cover (Step 2).
(b) To remove the V drive belt (G170), insert a tool between the belt and the pulley (G160).
Rotate the pulley and remove the belt.
(c) Use a 19 mm spanner to remove nut (G210) and cup washer (G580).
(d) The pulley can normally be removed from the drum shaft manually. However, if this is not possible,
use a rubber headed hammer to gently strike the shaft.
(e) To re-assemble, follow the same procedure in reverse order, either using new nuts or
applying a locking compound to the re-used ones.
Step 9 For 33 cm and 39 cm washing machines:
Removing the drive belt (G170) and/or driven pulley (G160):
(a) Remove the rear cover (Step 2).
(b) To remove the V drive belt (G170), insert a tool between the belt and the pulley (G160).
Rotate the pulley and remove the belt.
(c) Use a 6 mm Allen key to remove screw (G029) and cup washer (G580).
(d) The pulley can normally be removed from the drum shaft manually. However, if this is not possible,
use a rubber headed hammer to gently strike the shaft.
(e) To re-assemble, follow the same procedure in reverse order.
