3. Page 36, Schedule A: Description of Services, Part 2: Period of Contract
Paragraph 1 which reads:
The Contract to be awarded as a result of this Request for Proposal shall commence on May 3, 2022
and shall be for a period of two (2) years and eleven (11) months, ending March 31, 2025 with an option
to renew two (2) times for a one (1) year period by mutual agreement by both parties.

4. Page 45, Schedule A: Description of Services, Part M: Snow Removal and Sanding
ADD the following paragraph:
Operational areas of the composting facility site shall be sanded as required to provide safe vehicle,
equipment and worker movement at no extra cost to the Regional District.
5. Appendix D: Prime Contractor Area Figure
REPLACE the figure in Appendix D – Prime Contractor Area Figure with Attachment No. B (attached
hereto).
6. Supreme International – Mechanical Stationary Operators Manual
The Supreme International – Mechanical Stationary Operators Manual (44 Pages) (Attachment A
hereto) shall be attached to the Request for Proposal document additional information for the
operation and maintenance of the mixing equipment reference in Schedule, Part 3 – Services Required.
General Enquiries
Q1. Does the RDCK have an operations and maintenance manuals for the vertical mixer?
A1. The mixer manufacturer, Supreme International, has provided a general Mechanical Stationary Operator’s
Manual (attachment 2). Supreme International is currently working on a revised manual specific to the mixer
that will be used at the composting facility but indicated it will be most similar to the 400 Model outlined in
the attached manual.
Except as modified by Addendum No. 1 issued January 10, 2022, Addendum No. 2 issued January 20, 2022, and
this Addendum No. 3 issued January 24, 2022, the Creston Composting Facility Operations and Maintenance
documents shall remain unchanged.
