ENGINE REINSTALLATION
Reinstall the engine in the reverse order of engine removal.
• Install the engine mounting bolts and nuts as shown in the following illustration.
• Tighten the engine mounting nuts to the specified torque.
NOTE:
The engine mounting nuts are self-locking. Once the nuts have been removed, they are no longer of any
use.
• Tighten the swingarm pivot nut to the specified torque.
" Swingarm pivot nut: 65 N·m (6.5 kgf-m, 47.0 lb-ft)
• Tighten the engine mounting bracket nuts to the specified
torque.
" Engine mounting bracket nut:
40 N·m (4.0 kgf-m, 29.0 lb-ft)
