• When installing a new snap ring, pay attention to the direction
of the snap ring. Fit the snap ring to the side where the thrust
is as shown in the illustration. The rounded side should be
against the gear surface.
• Press fitted 2nd drive gear onto the countershaft. Before reassem-
bling, coat the internal face of the 2nd drive gear with THREAD LOCK
SUPER “1303” and install the gears so that the length
A is as shown.
