1. Temporarily remove the terminal bolts from the bat-
tery terminals.
2. Reinstall the battery A in the battery box.
3. Pass the battery + lead B from the recession of the
air cleaner box C to the inside of the frame.
A: Battery
B: + lead
C: Air cleaner box
4. Connect the + lead A to the + positive terminal of
the battery with the terminal bolt first.
5. Cover + terminal with rubber boot C.
6. Pass the battery - lead B under the air cleaner
intake pipe D.
7. Connect the - lead B to the - negative terminal of
the battery with the terminal bolt.
8. Arrange the lead wire and coupler as shown in the
photograph.

NOTE:
• Check the rubber cushions are installed in the
correct position before installing the battery.
• When installing the battery, be careful not to peel
off the rubber cushion.
