CLUTCH CABLE
Check the clutch lever play at the clutch lever end
when squeezing the lever until pressure is felt.
Clutch lever play: 10–15 mm (0.4–0.6 in)
If adjustment is necessary, carry out the following pro-
cedure.
1. Shift the rubber boot F.
2. Loosen the clutch lever adjuster lock nut D and turn
in the adjuster E as far as possible.
3. Shift the rubber boot G.
4. Loosen the clutch cable adjuster lock nut A.
5. Turn the adjuster bolt B while holding the adjuster
nut C to obtain the correct play.
6. Tighten the lock nut A while holding the adjuster nut
C.
7. Place the rubber boot G.
8. Minor adjustments can now be made with the clutch
lever adjuster E.
Tighten the lock nut D while holding the adjuster E.
9. Place the rubber boot F.
REAR BRAKE PEDAL
Check the rear brake pedal height.
Brake pedal height: 0–10 mm (0–0.4 in)
If adjustment is necessary, carry out the following pro-
cedure.
1. Loosen the lock nut A.
2. Rotate the push rod B to locate the pedal to the
correct height below the top face of the footrest C.
Be sure to measure this height carefully.
3. Tighten the lock nut A to the specified torque.
Rear brake push rod lock nut:
18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 lbf-ft)
NOTE:
Minor adjustments can now be made with the
clutch lever adjuster A.
