INSPECTION

Handlebars distortion.
Handlebars clamp wear.
Race wear and brinelling
Worn or damaged steel balls.
Distortion of steering stem.
Remove the upper and lower steel balls.
Remove the outer race fitted on the steering stem. This can
be down with a chisel.
Draw out the two inner races fitted to the top and bottom
ends of the head pipe with the special tool.
Inspect and check the removed parts for the following
abnormalities.
Number of balls:
Upper: 22 pcs Lower: 18 pcs
