b. Enter the IP address of the SNMP trap host in the
SNMP Address field.
9. The DNS function is not currently implemented. Proceed to
the next step.
10. Enter the NetPlus Router’s I/NET
Link (LL) address (0-99).
This assigns an I/NET system link number to the NPR’s
TCP/IP port. Each device must have a unique link address.
11. Enter the NetPlus Router’s I/NET
Controller LAN (SS)
address (0–63). This assigns a station address on the
connected Controller LAN. Each device must have a unique
station address.
12. Select the correct network Media connection, either
RJ45 or
AUI.
13. Click
OK to save the configuration and return to the NetPlus
Router Summary dialog box.

Managing NetPlus Router Configurations
You must be connected, either through a serial port or an Ethernet
LAN, to the NetPlus Router to perform any of the following func-
tions.
Setting a Password
You may set a password on the NetPlus Router to protect it from
unauthorized configuration changes. This password will be
required before changing, saving, or restoring the configuration to
the NetPlus Router.
1. Select the desired NetPlus Router from the NetPlus Router
Summary dialog box.
2. Click the
Password button to display the Password editor,
shown in Figure 4-17.
