12-12 Multi-unit system ON/OFF conditions
In Easy-Link multi-unit systems, the amount of T-K3’s called on to activate depends on the
FLOW RAT E and the O UT P UT S ET T EM P ERAT URE.
1. Condition required to activate an additional T-K3:
Flow rate required to activate additional T-K3 = A × n
Where n = number of currently activated T-K3’s
and
A is dependent on the output set temperature. See table below :

2. Condition required to reduce the number of activated T-K3’s:
A.
In the case of reducing down from 2 T-K3’s to 1 T-K3: Flow rate = A / 1.7
B.
All other cases: Flow rate = A × (n - 2)
3. Example: Output set temperature = 122˚F in a 4-unit system and priority unit is No. 1
