If the T-K3 pump control is used to control a recirculation pump, w hen needed, the computer w ill
activate this pump to provide flow and prevent freezing throughout the recirculation system.
For instructions on connecting the recirculation pump to the pump control port on the T-K3
computer board, refer to Section 12-13 “ Relay selection for the pump control connection”.
To use this feature in a multiple-unit Easy-link system, the pump must be connected
to the T-K3 pump control port in the Master unit. Refer to Section 12-13 for details.
< While recirculation system freeze protection is in operation>
While this freeze protection is operating, the T-K3 computer board w ill not display anything on its
7-seg LED. In addition, the TM-RE10 and TM- RE30 remote controllers w ill also not display
anything on its screen (this is true w hether the T-K3 is in a single-unit installation or a multi-unit

3. The T-K3 computer (of the master unit) detects water temperature 50°F (10°C) or below (the
computer w ill activate the pump every tw o minutes to properly measure w ater temperatures
throughout the recirculation line).
B. Deactivation condition:
After pump has been activated for freeze protection, the pump is set to run for at least 1 hour.
After 1 hour has elapsed, the T-K3 computer (of the master unit) w ill actively measure water
