8.9 Disposal of Instrument
8.9.1 Introduction
This chapter gives instructions on how to lawfully dispose of waste material
accumulating in connection with the HYDROFLEX PLUS.
CAUTION
OBSERVE ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL ENVIRONMENTAL
REGULATIONS.

EQUIPMENT (WEEE)
NEGATIVE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE
TREATMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
WASTE
• DO NOT TREAT ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AS
UNSORTED MUNICIPAL WASTE.
• COLLECT WASTE FROM ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC
EQUIPMENT SEPARATELY.
8.9.2 Disposal of Packing Material
According to Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste, the
manufacturer is responsible for the disposal of packing material.
Returning Packing Material
If you do not intend to keep the packing material for future use, e.g. for transport
and storage purposes:
Return the packaging of the product, spare parts and options via the field service
engineer to the manufacturer.
