1.2.5 Status LEDs
Introduction
On the front panel of your TG234, you can find a number of status LEDs, indicating the state of the device.
Link Quality ( ) LED
The Link Quality LED indicates the link quality of the wireless link to the access point or repeater.
To improve the link quality of your wireless, see “Poor wireless connectivity or range” on page 48 for more information.
Access Point ( ) LED
Wireless ( ) LED
Colour State Description
Green Solid on The link quality is optimal.
Orange Solid on The link quality is average.
Red Solid on The link quality is bad.
Off The TG234 is not connected to any access point or repeater.
The Link Quality LED will always be off when the TG234 is in Access Point mode.
Colour State Description
Green Solid on The TG234 is in Access Point or Repeater mode.
Blinking Selecting a channel for wireless communication.
Off The TG234 is in Station mode.
Colour State Description
Green Solid on Connection established.
Blinking Connection established and transmitting data.
Off Wireless interface disabled; or no stations or access points connected.
