5.3 Wired connection troubleshooting
Ethernet LED does not light up
Make sure that:
The Ethernet cable is securely connected to the Ethernet port on your TG234 and your device (gateway, set-top box,...).
You are using the correct cable type for your Ethernet equipment, that is at least fully wired UTP CAT5 with RJ-45
connectors.
If you are not sure what Ethernet cable to use, it is recommended that you use the Ethernet cable delivered with your
TG234.
