AVIONIC SUITE FAILURES

2.2 PITOT HEATING SYSTEM FAILURE
When the Pitot Heating system is activated, the green PITOT HEAT ON ad-
visory light turns on and the amber PITOT HEAT caution light turns OFF,
indicating that the Pitot Heating system is functioning properly.
If the amber PITOT HEAT caution light is ON when the green PITOT
HEAT ON light is on, then the Pitot Heating system is not functioning proper-
ly.
In this case apply following procedure:
1.
Pitot heat switch …………………………………
OFF
2.
Pitot heat circuit breaker …….………………
CHECK IN
3.
Pitot heat switch …………………………………
ON
4.
PITOT HEAT caution light …………………..
CHECK
if the amber light stays ON, avoid visible moisture and OATs below
10° C.
