4 Operation using the Touch Screen Display General Setup
Selecting the Transmit Power Level
The transmit power level of the UDB-9000 can be selected by selecting an
attenuation in decibels, or by selecting minimum for the lowest power
(maximum attenuation) or maximum for the highest power (no attenuation).
To select the transmit power level:
1. Touch the Transmit Power control
on the Status and Control bar.
A drop-down list opens as shown in
Figure 4-8.
2. Select the attenuation level from
the drop-down list.
The drop-down list closes and the
new transmit power level is
displayed.
Adjusting the Headphones Volume
The headphone volume can be adjusted or the headphones muted. To mute
the headphones, touch the Headphone control. Touch it again to turn the
headphones back on. When muted, the Headphone control displays an
X across it.
To adjust the headphones volume:
1. Touch and hold the Headphone
control on the Status and Control
bar.
The Phones Vol pop-up opens as
shown in Figure 4-9.
2. Touch and drag the slider up or
down to adjust the volume, or
touch directly on the slide at the
desired location. The headphones
can also be muted by touching the
Mute check box. When muted, a
