HELP HELP [Command]
Examples:

HELP
HELP PINGHOST
Displays help for all the commands or for a
specific command. If you do not specify a
command, a list of all available commands
displays.
LOG LOG [-r] [-x] DeviceType DeviceName
[SearchString]
Examples:
LOG -r SERIAL “Serial 1”
LOG -r SERIAL “Serial 1”
“ERR225 1 0”
Used to view, clear, or search log files.
-r = reads the log (nondestructive) and searches
records using the specified search string as a
regular expression
-x = reads the log (destructive, i.e., clears the log)
and searches records using the specified search
string
DeviceType = any device with logging
capabilities, such as serial or modem
DeviceName = name of the device that we are
logging
SearchString = the search parameters for logging
Note When entering strings—for example,
DeviceName—surrounding quotes are not
required. When a name contains spaces, the
quotes are required.
LOGIN LOGIN
Examples:
LOGIN
returns the following:
USERNAME: <enter user ID>
PASSWORD: <enter your password>
Begins a new interactive session with the NET-
PATH.
LOGOUT LOGOUT Terminates a session.
MD MD Directory
Example:
MD \TEMP\MyDirectory
Makes a new directory.
Directory = name of new directory
Note The directory name cannot include spaces.
MEDIA MEDIA Media
Examples:
MEDIA FLASH
MEDIA RAM
Change the current media or list all the available
media. If you do not specify media, all available
media displays.
Media = FLASH or RAM
MODEM* Modem ModemName
Examples:
MODEM MODEM
Initiate a transparency session to a modem.
Modem is the default name of the NET-PATH
modem and seldom changes.
