Emergency Exit from Cab
Normal access to, and egress from, the cab is facilitated via the door on
the left-hand side. However, in an emergency, an alternative exit can be
gained via the side windows. A hammer is provided to break the left-hand
or right-hand side window glass to facilitate safe egress.
The hammer is mounted on a bracket on the rear wall of the cab, and can
be easily lifted off in an emergency.
CAUTION
Do not attempt to break the windscreen with the Emergency
hammer. It is ONLY provided to allow access through the
left-hand and right-hand windows.
Exercise extreme care when breaking the window glass to
protect your face and body from airborne glass particles.
Be careful when passing through the window aperture to
avoid contact with shards of glass that may remain attached to
the frame, or loose within or outside of the cab.
