Choosing a monitor conguration
After the system diagnostics and module self-tests have been completed, the monitor
conguration screen appears. On this screen, you specify the conguration of your
system — that is, which modules you want to use.
Note: If any of the modules failed their SRS or color chip checks, an error message
“REFERENCE SENSOR TEST FAILURE” appears in the message bar. The “A”
,
“V”
,
and/or “H/S” module indicators will ash indicating the failed modules.
1 Press the and keys to move the highlight to the configuration you want.
Note: The dimmed congurations indicate the required hardware is not available on
your system for that particular conguration. Therefore the dimmed congurations
cannot be selected.
Note: The starting choice will be the last one used.
2 Press the √ key when the desired configuration is highlighted.
If a blood parameter module (BPM) or a CDI H/S Probe has failed its self-test, you will
see a message that gives you two options:
Cancel. If you choose this option, you’re prompted to re-select your monitor
conguration.
Retry. If you choose this option, the module self-test repeats.
