I.5 Cleaning the modular flue gas probe
Disconnect the flue gas probe from the measuring
instrument prior to cleaning.

Release the probe catch by pressing the key on
the probe handle and remove the probe module.

Blow compressed air through the flue ducts of the
probe module and probe handle (see illustration).
Do not use a brush!

Fit a new probe module on the handle and engage
it in place.
I.6 Changing the thermocouple

Release the probe catch by pressing the key on
the probe handle and remove the probe module.

Remove the thermocouple plug-in head from the
socket using a screwdriver and pull the
thermocouple out of the probe shaft.

Keep inserting new thermocouple in the probe
shaft until the connection head clicks into place.

Fit a new probe module on the handle and engage
it in place.
