Disc menu
1. Insert a disc and press STOP.
2. Select the option Disc and press OK to confirm.
Note:The options in the Disc menu vary according to the type of disc.
3. Select a play mode using the buttons, then press OK to confirm.
Standard Play / Start (all discs)
Press OK or the PLAY button to begin the disc’s standard playback.
Random Play
For a DVD containing several titles, the titles are played right through in random order, including all the chapters in each title.
This mode cannot be used for VCDs and films with a rating limit (unless the password is entered). See the Lock menu section.
Press
OK to start random playback.
Program Play (all discs except VCD, SVCD and JPEG)
Playback occurs in the order specified in the list entered using the Edit Program screen.
Notes:
- If there is no programmed list, this mode cannot be selected.
- It cannot be used either if a rating limit has been set for the film, unless the relevant password is entered (see the Lock menu section).
Edit Program
With this option, you choose and program the playback order. Lists vary according to the type of disc.
1a. DVDs: Enter a title and chapter number using the buttons or the numeric buttons on the remote control, then
press the button. Select the Add button and press OK.The chapter appears in the programmed list.
1b.CDs: the audio CD list takes the form of a track list.
Enter the track numbers in the order you want them to be played.This list displays the chosen track numbers with
their respective durations.The last line indicates the total duration of the chosen tracks.
1c. MP3: this appears as a scrolling list of files arranged in folders and subfolders.When you select a file, the relevant
information is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Select a file, then press the button. Select Add and press OK to confirm.
The file appears in the programmed list. If you have selected a folder or a subfolder the programmed list displays its entire
contents.
The last line indicates the number of tracks and the total duration of the programme.
2. Use the Delete button to delete an entry.
Use the
Play button to start playback in the programmed order then press OK.
AutoPlay (all discs)
This option automatically starts playback as soon as a disc is loaded.
Press
OK to enable or disable this option.
IntroScan (Audio CD and mp3 only)
This option plays the first ten seconds of each track.
Press
OK to start the IntroScan, press STOP to stop it and PLAY to continue playing the current track.
