2.5 Speed governor connection
The NBS emergency brake is triggered at overspeed by an additional switch
on the speed governor.
Additional mounting of switch for the NBS emergency brake on the
ThyssenKrupp speed governor
NB: a separate circuit with its own triggering is prescribed for the NBS
emergency braking device. The existing switch for shutdown of the safety
circuit (Item 3) must not be used in conjunction with this.
This means that in the case of modifications the existing speed governor is to
be replaced by a new one with an additional switch or separate switch is to
be fitted to the NBS emergency brake in line with Fig. 2.5.1, Item 1.
