7.4 Setting braking deceleration
The brake adjustment is to be carried out only with one effective brake
block with the elevator car loaded with the rated load on a descending
run (full down) or with an empty elevator car on an ascending run (empty
up) according to the deceleration values in the table below.
The braking torque must be set on uniformly on both brake blocks by
pretensioning the brake spring depending on the installation.
