1.Stoptheengine,settheparkingbrake,removethekey,
andwaitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
2.Allowthemufertocool.
3.Checkthesparkarresterforbreaksinthespark-arrester
screenorwelds.
Note:Replacearresterifitiswornordamaged.
4.Ifyouseethatthescreenisplugged,performthe
following:
A.Removethesparkarrester.
B.Shakeloosetheparticlesfromofthearresterand
cleanscreenwithawirebrush.
Note:Soakthearresterscreeninsolventif
necessary.
C.Installsparkarresterontoexhaustoutlet.

1.Stoptheengine,settheparkingbrake,removethekey,

2.Closethefuelshut-offvalve;refertoFuelShut-Off
Valve(page15).
3.Squeezetheendsofthehoseclampstogetherandslide
themawayfromthelter(Figure43).
