2.Openthefuelvalve.
3.DisengagethePTOandshifttotheNEUTRAL
position.
4.Engagetheparkingbrakes.
5.TurntheignitionkeytotheRUNposition.
Tostartacoldengine,movethethrottle
controlmidwaybetweentheFASTandSLOW
positions.
Tostartawarmengine,movethethrottle
controltotheFASTposition.
6.Pullthechokeknobiftheengineiscold.
Note:Awarmorhotengineusuallydoesnot
requireanychoking.
7.Grasptherecoil-starthandlermlyandpullit
tostarttheengine.
Note:Allowtheropetorecoilslowly.
Important:Donotpulltherecoilropeto
itslimitorreleasethestarterhandlewhen
youpullouttherope,becausetherope
maybreakortherecoilassemblymaybe
damaged.
8.PushthechoketotheOFFpositionasthe
enginewarmsup.
9.Iftheengineiscold,allowittowarmupandthen
movethethrottlecontroltotheFASTposition.
ShuttingOfftheEngine
Important:Inanemergency,youcanstopthe
engineimmediatelybyturningtheignitionkeyto
theOffposition.
1.MovethethrottlelevertotheSLOWposition
(Figure6).
2.Idletheenginefor30to60secondsbefore
turningtheignitionkeytotheOFFposition.
