Neverstorethemachineorfuelcontainerwhere
thereisanopename,spark,orpilotlight,such
asonawaterheateroronotherappliances.
Usefull-widthrampsforloadingthemachineinto
atrailerortruck.
Tiethemachinedownsecurelyusingstraps,
chains,cable,orropes.Directbothfrontandrear
strapsdownandoutwardfromthemachine.
HaulingtheMachine
Useaheavy-dutytrailerortrucktotransportthe
machine.Ensurethatthetrailerortruckhasallthe
necessarybrakes,lighting,andmarkingrequiredby
thelaw.Carefullyreadallthesafetyinstructions.
1.Ifusingatrailer,connectittothetowingvehicle
andconnectthesafetychains.
2.Ifapplicable,connectthetrailerbrakes.
3.Loadthemachineontothetrailerortruck.
4.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,shutofftheengine,removethe
key,andclosethefuelvalve.
5.Usethetie-downloopsonthemachineto
securelyfastenthemachinetothetowing
vehiclewithstraps,chains,cable,orropes
