Neveroperatethemachinewithoutthe
grassdeector,thedischargecover,orthe
grass-collectionsysteminplace.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
thePTO,andengagetheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,and
disconnectthespark-plugwiresfromthespark
plugs.
3.Removethelocknut,bolt,springandspacer
securingthedeectortothepivotbrackets
(Figure55).
Note:Removethedamagedorworngrass
deector.
