Theservicebrake(Figure15)islocatedontheleftfrontside
ofthehandle.Pullingtheleverbackwillapplytheservice
brake.Thebrakemustbereleasedbeforethetractiondrive
isengaged.

withtheservicebrake.Withtheservicebrakeengaged,rotate
theparkingbrakelatchtowardthebrakehandleandrelease
theservicebrakeontothelatchtoholdtheservicebrakein
place.Pullthebrakelevertoreleaseit.
On/OffSwitch
Theon/offswitch(Figure12)islocatedontopofthecontrol
panel.MovetheswitchtotheOnpositiontostarttheengine
andOfftostoptheengine.
OperatorPresenceControl(OPC)
Theoperatorpresencecontrol(Figure12)mustbeengaged
beforeengagingthetractionlever.ReleasingtheOPCduring
operationwillreturnthemachinetoneutralbutdoesnotkill
theengine.
ChokeLever
Thechokelever(Figure16)locatedontheengine.Thelever
hastwopositions:RunandChoke.Movethechokeleverto
thehalf-openpositionwhenstartingacoldengine.Afterthe
enginestartsmovethelevertotheRunposition.
