OperatingtheControlsafterMowing
1.Driveoffthegreen,movethereeldriveandtraction
controlleverstotheDisengagepositionandstopthe
engine.
2.Emptythegrassbasketofclippings,installthegrass
basketonthemowerandcommencethetransport
operation.
CheckingtheOperationofthe
InterlockSwitches
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
CAUTION
Ifsafetyinterlockswitchesaredisconnectedor
damagedthemachinecouldoperateunexpectedly
causingpersonalinjury.
•Donottamperwiththeinterlockswitches.
•Checktheoperationoftheinterlockswitches
dailyandreplaceanydamagedswitchesbefore
operatingthemachine.
UsingtheOperatorPresenceControl
(OPC)InterlockSwitch
1.Pushthekickstanddownwithfootandpulluponthe
handlesupportuntilthekickstandhasrotatedforward,
overcenter.
2.Starttheengine.
3.WiththeOPCreleased,attempttoengagethetraction
lever(Figure27).Thetractionlevershouldnotengage.
Ifthetractionleverengages,theinterlocksystemneeds
service.Correcttheproblembeforeoperating.Refer
toServicingtheTractionInterlockSwitch(page30).
