ReplacingtheHydrostat-DriveBelt
1.Insertanutdriverorsmallpieceoftubingonto
theendofthebelt-tensioningspring.
CAUTION
Thespringthattensionsthebeltisunder
aheavyload,andreleasingthetensionof
thespringimproperlymaycauseinjury.
Usecarewhende-tensioningthespring
andreplacingthebelt.
2.Pushdownandforwardonthespringendto
unhookitfromthebracketandreleasetension
onthespring(Figure61).

1.Positionthethrottleleverrearwardsothatit
stopsagainstthecontrol-panelslot.
2.Loosenthethrottle-cableconnectoronthe
injection-pump-leverarm(Figure62).

leverandtightenthescrewssecuringthethrottle
controltothecontrolpanel.
7.Ifthethrottledoesnotstayinpositionduring
operation,torquethelocknut,usedtosetthe
frictiondeviceonthethrottlelever,to5to6N∙m
(40to55in-lb).
Note:Themaximumforcerequiredtooperate
thethrottlelevershouldbe27N∙m(20in-lb).
