7. Remove the 4 bolts securing the variable speed
pulley assembly to the transmission (Fig. 444).
9. Route the belt forward and remove it from around
the shift rod (Fig. 446).

10. Pull the belt downward (Fig. 447).
8. Tilt the variable speed pulley forward and remove
the belt from it (Fig. 445).
