6. Loosen the nut from the bolt securing the pulley to
the spring loaded idler assembly (Fig. 747).
1. Route the mower deck belt around the spindles and
idlers. Refer to the belt routing decal (Fig. 749):

2. Tilt the spring loaded idler pulley to route the belt
around it (Fig. 750).
7. Tilt the spring loaded idler pulley and remove the
mower deck belt from the mower deck (Fig. 748).
