4. Install 5 screws to secure the left hand spindle cover
to the mower deck (Fig. 831).

54” Mower Deck Fixed Idler Removal
1. Remove the mower deck from the tractor. Refer to
“54” Mower Deck Removal” on page 7-29.
2. Remove the deck belt from the mower deck. Refer to
“54” Mower Deck Belt Removal” on page 7-23.
