5. Repeat steps 2 – 4 to install the height adjuster onto
the other end of the roller shaft.
6. Raise the deck by moving the deck lift lever into the
top notch on the right fender. Raise and support
the rear of the tractor to allow clearance for the
deck roller to be installed into the mower deck roller
brackets (Fig. 870).
7. Slide the deck roller assembly under the rear end of
the mower deck (Fig. 871).
8. Slide the height adjuster into the mower deck roller
bracket. Support the lift bracket and install the lift
bracket pin into the lift bracket (Fig. 872).

9. Install a hairpin into the lift bracket pin (Fig. 873).

10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 on the other side of the deck
roller.
