27. Install the battery hold down strap (Fig. 538). 29. Install the negative battery cable (Fig. 540).

30. Test operate tractor to confi rm proper operation.
Adjust the brake, refer to “Brake Adjustment” on
page 3-91, and make neutral adjustment if needed,
refer to “Neutral Adjustment” on page 3-84.
31. Install the mower deck. Refer to “46” Mower Deck
Installation” on page 7-72.
32. Test operate tractor.
